Injury Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation after an injury is a complex process whose goal is to restore full physical function after the movement system has been damaged. It is first necessary to treat the injury itself and allow the injured tissue and muscles to recover. After that, the movement restoration process begins, which includes the gradual return of the full range of motion in joints and muscles that have become shorter or weaker as a result of the injury. In addition, rehabilitation includes the strengthening of damaged muscles through controlled strength training, endurance, and coordination training. Another important aspect is the retraining of movement patterns and balance in order to improve posture, walking and general function, as well as proper nutrition for rounding out the treatment.
